Job Objective:
The Regional Manager 1 is responsible for the development, management, operation and maintenance of the ARC Family Thrift Stores as assigned with a focus on creating net revenues in order to provide resources for the ARC Program.

Administration:
- Implements business, strategic and financial plans to support the increasing of net revenue.
- Conducts sales and productivity analysis. Works with Director of Operations /Administrator to implement appropriate action to achieve strategic and financial goals.
- Provides KPI (Key Performance Indicators) evaluations.
Financial:
- Works with Director of Operations/Administrator for Business to create and manage all store budgets.
- Is responsible to work with managers to keep income and expense within budget parameters.
- Review monthly budget reports identifying areas of success or concern.
- Help managers make adjustments to spending and scheduling as identified by reports.
- Oversees tracking of GPR (Goods Purchased for Resale)
Personnel:
- Recruit, interview, recommend for hire, trains and supervise all Store Managers.
- Oversees and manages the recruitment process for store staffing and is proactive in
keeping stores sufficiently staffed.
- Supports and develops managers as they provide leadership to the rest of the store staff.
- Ensures the TSA Policies and Procedures for Human Resources are being followed at all levels.
- Periodic reviews staffing ratios and payroll accuracy.
- Final approval of payroll information bi-weekly for all assigned store personnel. o----- Conduct monthly meetings with store managers.
- Support Managers to create and deliver corrective actions ensuring all documentation is completed according to TSA HR Policies and Procedures.
Store Operations:
- Oversees the forecasting and setting of product acquisition, production and sales goals for each store.
- Coordinate with Director of Operations/Production Supervisor and/or Expediter needs for stores and work to ensure prompt scheduled deliveries to all stores.
- Act as level 1 support for the Point of Sales program used in stores. Assess, repair and/or communicates all POS, Network and Credit Card issues to level 2 POS support.
- Inspect offers of special donations to determine salability prior to acceptance as assigned.
- Supports the implementation of operating policy which includes operating hours, banking procedures, vacation schedule and compliance with store manual and ARC Command directives.
- Responsible to insure store inventory, pricing and marking of merchandise for stores is within outlined parameters.
- Work with the Director of Operations to implement of Product Control Procedures
preventing shrinkage through theft or spoilage.
- Oversee the maintaining of Safe From Harm Guidelines in store operations.
- Oversee implementation of marketing strategies in stores.
- Oversees the preparation of incident report documentation assuring all documentation is accurate and properly filed.
- Complete regular store inspections, providing feedback and training to ensure that branding standards are met.
Program:
- Work with ARC Director for Rehabilitative Services in assigning, supervising and training of beneficiaries to stores to maximize work therapy goals. Work with Store Managers to support the success of the beneficiaries.
Property & Equipment:
- Oversees property maintenance for stores, coordinating with the Director of Operations and Maintenance teams.
- Oversees store compliance with all OSHA and Salvation Army safety and security policies and procedures.
- Works with TSA Leadership to determine opportunities for expansion and contraction of stores. Submit all financial, civic, property and legal documents to Administrator for ARC CFB processing and approval as assigned.
- Works with TSA Leadership to complete and submit all necessary documents for lease renewals as assigned.
All other duties as assigned.
